OHYOUNG signs a
large-scale dyestuff supply contract to Egypt
OHYOUNG signed a
contract to supply dyestuffs worth a total of 10 million US dollars with
Alrowad Chemicals, an Egyptian Chemical supplier, at the ‘2024 Korea-Africa
Business partnership and MOU Signing Ceremony’ held at the InterContinental
Seoul COEX Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on June 4.
OHYOUNG entered
the Egyptian market to respond to the rapid growth of the African textile
market, and has since expanded its market to South Africa and Ethiopia.
OHYOUNG CEO Chung
Jin-Wook said, ‘By signing this contract with Egypt, we plan to accelerate the
development of market-tailored technology and secure new customers so that we
can grow into a top-class dyestuff supplier in the African textile market.’
This contract is
expected to be an important stepping stone for OHYOUNG to strengthen its
position in the African market and further increase its global competitiveness.
